Hi All,
I have been transferring all my movie to digital format. After researching decided to go with ISO format due to its lossless feature and wide support by many other applications. Unfortunately, I found PLEX doesn't support ISO format and likes MKV very much.
I tried to use an automated way to convert all ISO files to MKV by using makemkvcon command line. I am posting error below.
Before I have a couple of questions:
1. Which format is the recommended format to use with PLEX and any other Media Servers as XBMC. I require such format to be lossless since space is not an issue for me and want to make sure I keep an exact image of the DVD.
2. Which application besides makemkv in case I cannot get it to work, will be the best recommended to accomplish this task. I am running MAC OS.
