cant reflash bw-16d1x-u [SOLVED]

EDIT: I figured it out, i had to click recover drive, select the WRONG firmware installed then select the correct firmware. currently using ASUS-BW-16D1HT-3.10-WM01601-211901041014 and have regained writing back!

i was able to flash it from a105 firmware but i accidentally flashed it to the bluray reader version and not the BW version so now im stuck not being able to write blurays
my issue is i cant flash it to the BW version at all, i've made sure to check enc. anyone had this same issue before and figure out how to fix this?

Can you say how you solved this? I have as similar problem, a BC-12D2HT that was crossflashed that I can no longer flash to anything else.

Wow, thank you. This just fixed my drive. Figured Recover was for bricked drives, not ones that wouldn't take new firmware... also wasn't sure the procedure on the double-prompting like that. (Existing/wrong firmware first, then the firmware you want to go to.)

Nice utility Marty made here, just wish I knew that bit of procedure
