Episodes being joined together

I have a case where a DV has 8 episodes but for some reasons makemkv only reports and rips 4 episodes with two episodes joined in one file. Are there any ways to fix this? I have seen other discs that have say episode 1, 2 and then another track that has both 1-2 combined in this case makemkv only shows 4 tracks. DVD is Due South if that helps.

I don't have that particular title but I've run across the same situation many times.

Being a DVD you have the option to open the disc manually within MakeMKV, which will allow you to specify exactly what cells you want to include in each file.

Or, depending on how the chapters are structured, you may be able to simply split the output file "Before chapters" using MKVToolNix.
