But does it react to Chroma Weight or not regardless of how it looks, is there a visible change? That is what matters.

Ah… yes it does, meaning ‘original’ doesn’t look as ‘no-trim-chroma-weight’ and I see a change. I thought color aspects (i.e. chroma) were important. When Oppo was in player led, both original & sub-sequent shot were the same.

Then it is normal and this is why one should never use the Cinema Home mode unless maybe if your TV is in a bright room.

I actually dont use ‘Cinema Home’, rather ‘Cinema’. I was trying picmode ‘DV Game’ & it gave same results as ‘Cinema Home’ for chroma weight, an avsforum user recommended that mode for DV movie viewing over ‘Cinema’.

yeah AFAIK only ''cinema'' is accurate on LG TVs.

Speaking of Chroma Weight, the latest amazon prime original movie does use it quite a lot. And IMO there's a much more concerning bug with TV-LED where any positive lift for trims offset doesn't work.

So on DoVi_scripts it said unsupported codec with truehd, but the truehd and ac3 files were seperate. I think they need to be combined for it to be supported?

you have to provide more info if you want me to help you.

2- log of the script with ''echo on'' preferably

I assume I just copy the text from the command line for the log, but what is echo and how do I turn it on?

I tried playing with some more converting from MKV into MP4 and TS and it seems these two scripts have issues with file drop, they do not pick up the file path, I had to enter it manually for both. MKV script seems to work fine. Also, the MP4 converting flow processed the audio and subs two times, although I only had one of each.
No issue on my end and there is no difference between the mp4/ts or mkv version, its all the same script. I know drag and drop doesn't work on Windows 11 if you launch the script in admin rights.
I wouldn't use the auto ocr sup to srt though.
YES script doing audio and subtitles two times in mp4 7 profile mode and something wrong with dolby vision layers they are wrong plese fix it

Oh you mean the Prime movie "Role Play", anything one should watch for related to this "bug" ? i.e. is it visible to the naked eye in some scene ?

All the HDMI devices I tested will ignore any positive lift for Trim offset so it will reflect in a darker image.
test file if you want to see it with your own eyes: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JrU6JX ... drive_link

This is a much bigger issue than the LLDV CW bug because L2 trim offset is calculated automatically by the Dolby algo (then the colorist can edit it) so unlike Chroma Weight which must come from the colorist, trim offset is used a lot more often in real content and only the TV internal player support it. (ironically, all the devices support it just fine in LLDV)

test file if you want to see it with your own eyes:
I assume I need to check around 2 minutes in the video for the L1 + 'trim chroma weight' ? if so, using Oppo/Cinema on my TV, I couldn't spot anything different. For other segments, I did see a change.

I'm talking about L2 trim offset, not CW which doesn't have an effect in that frame.
