Decoding fake playlists

Post by Woundup »

Hi all, I am new here and just started ripping my movies using makemkv for use on my plex media server. I’ve ran into the fake playlist issue on some of the movies. I’m not about to create a new thread for each movie I run into this issue on and expect someone else to do the work for me so can some please just share the best method for determining which track I should rip so that I can then learn the process and do this on my own? I’ve seen numerous ways to do this but with mixed results. I’m just looking for the easiest method that is most accurate in its results. Thank you

See this post where I just answered someone else asking the same. Few links in that post to to other methods too.
Windows:
Identifying The Correct Title To Rip: Process Monitor Method - GetMPLS Method
Mux/Remux: Set A Subtitle Stream On By Default (Forced)
