Can my drive rip UHD (Verbatim 43888)?
Can my drive rip UHD (Verbatim 43888)?
I recently purchased the verbatim 43888 drive and can't seem to be able to rip my UHD discs, am I doing something wrong? I popped in the standard bluray version of the movie and that seems to work just fine.

The drive seems to be power hungry. So make sure it gets enough. Which UHD movie are you trying to rip? Copy and paste the text from the messages Makemkv produces. This drive reads UHDs!

Your problem is in red above. Something is stopping MakeMKV from downloading the UHD hashed keys. Did you check the box to allow MakeMKV internet access in preferences?ph0enix wrote: ↑Thu Jan 11, 2024 10:45 pmSorry about that! I could've sworn I attached a jpg with the error code.
