Verbatin 43888 Slim USB-C Drive (Pioneer BDR-UD04) Problem (SOLVED)

Post by Sammy56 »

Hi!

Is there way to get this to ripping UHD Discs?

------ Status as of 24th Dec

SO i have got this far, but still no luck. I flashed it to 1.14 and updated my Make MKV to 1.17.5 the newest. Now i got showing that is LibreDrive comaptible.
It reads 2-3 min this Disc if i select the Backup (other options is not available as copying) but then ends with error. Same if i try just to open the Disc at Make MKV.

(SIdenote: My External Buffalo BRXL-16U3 shows now also as a LibreDrive compatible. But when i insert this UHD Disc in it. it reads it something like 10-20Sec. and then shows No Disc Inserted in Make MKV. So its also stuck with no luck for Ripping.)

Your drive should be supported even with firmware 1.11. Which version of Makemkv is installed? Is Internet access enabled?

I have Make Mkv version 1.16.3.. This state have stayed same all the time no change even during time versions of Make MKV changed on my system (meaning the status of the drive).

Does other software have any affect to this not showin ok? THis also is old system where trying Win7 x64. Though that shouldnt cause issues.. To internet connection, at least all stuf works ok on system connection wise. I cannot see a reason why it wouldnt work on Make MKV..

You need to update Makemkv to ideally the newest one. Your version is too old and doesn't support Pioneer drives.
