LG WH16NS40 will only read DVDs, BRD no longer spin up

My LG WH16NS40 has worked fantastic for a few years now, but suddenly it'll only spin up DVDs. When I put in a BRD it makes a few grunts, and then gives up. MakeMKV just shows No Disc. I've run a CD Lens cleaner on it and still no-go. Any ideas?

Sadly this happens quite offen on thr LGs and Asus the bluray laser likely died.
Your only hope is cleaning it by opening the drive it the disc didn't work.
I recommend the pioneers if you can get one with old firmware

Well shoot, I didn't consider failure but that makes more sense as there wouldn't have been much to make it dirty.
