Error on BD Evangelion You Can Not Advance anime movie

i get this really long error code and says something about no key to open the disc.
my bluray reader is an external drive. i'll test other blurays in the meantime

i've tried to open 3 different blurays, one of which i've used before to rip successfully...and now it wont.

I see that you have seen the thread about AACS bus encryption.

Did you rip the previous discs with this drive, or another drive?

i just had this drive replaced with a new one, the previous same model was not burning lightscribe discs so i was sent a new one....and now of course because its a new external, i can't rip, so yea i understand now. i just hope makemkv update is soon

I don't know what your talking about. Im currently using version. 1.6.10 and I get the error still. Besides the mod said we will get this error with later model drives.

FWIW, if the BD drive is working, Evangelion 2.22 extracts just fine with MakeMKV 1.6.8 and 1.6.10.

You currently can't use the drive that you have. What I believe Woodstock is saying, is that it would work if your drive wasn't constrained by the AACS bus encryption.
