Enable riplock on Pioneer Libredrive?

I recently purchased a Pioneer BDR-S12XLT, 4K Blu-ray, Libredrive with BDR-S12UHT FW 1-03, with Vantec and was wondering if I can download the pioneer utility software to enable maximum performance? I want to do this as its taking around 30mins to rip one DVD9 disc?

you can but do not update the firmware only use the performance utility
this is also built in to makemkv if you look up makemkv speed control
