Usually, when I open a blu ray in MakeMKV it lists one large title (~20-30GB) and a couple of smaller ones. I pick the largest one (main movie) and copy it.
With some discs, I have multiple titles around that size. They mostly are of the exact same size (~100mins) and length but sometimes they differ by 1-2mins. When I export all of them, they all look like the main move at the first blush.
Why is that and how do I figure out which one is the correct one?
Cheers,
Steff

Re: Mutliple Titles for the same movie
Chances are they are all the main movie, just different versions.
When I was working with Terminator 2-The Skynet Edition, it has three versions of the movie - Theatrical, Special, and Skynet.
I think I used a program called BDInfo to help figure out what was what. However that was a long time ago so I don't remember all the details.
Or you can check with IMDB to see what the runtime is for the feature as released and pick that one.

Re: Mutliple Titles for the same movie
Thanks for the BDInfo hint. After some more research, I found out the difference. It's the language.
It's an animated movie and they have one version for each language with all written text replaced.
It would be good to have a better support in makeMKV to select the right one. At least a preview of the playlist. Better would be if I could see the list of M2TS files linked by the playlist and preview them seperatly.
Do I need to submit a feature request or is this discussion enough?
