Hey guys,
I recently bought the player listed above and discovered the whole firmware blocker thing. I have been trying to follow the instructions listed, including getting the sdf tool and downloading the makemkv firmware folder, but I'm not sure what the best firmware to use is or if there are any other steps to check. Any suggestions?
I just want to rip the 4K's I've had sitting on my shelf to use for film class teaching without needing to log onto streaming services (always better to have a file than rely on school wifi).
Bought a new LG BP60NB10. Not sure what firmware to use.

Recommended Firmware to flash for MakeMKV:
...
BP60NB10 on any Firmware directly to > BP60NB10 1.02MK
(HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin)
...
w/ SDFtool Flasher

Thank you. I'm sorry, I know this sounds amateur. I've never had to deal with a problem like this with Makemkv before.

Hey zgamer, have you followed the directions above? I think to purchase a LG drive and wanted to know if the directions worked for you. TIA.

It's most likely a BP60NB10 with SVC NB12 (check label underneath). Simply flash it with BP60NB10-NB12_1.02-MK firmware from the pack and you will be good to go.zgamer wrote: ↑Tue Jul 25, 2023 12:31 amHey guys,

Thanks for the pointer. I just received my NB12 BP60NB10 drive and flashed HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-NB12-1.02-N000300-212107081556.binMartyMcNuts wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2023 9:23 pmIt's most likely a BP60NB10 with SVC NB12 (check label underneath). which you can find in the OP of this thread: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22896
direct link to the firmware pack: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ph1ap2eg ... 9.zip/file
The drive works great with makemkv as a libredrive now. Thanks!
