Cannot find drive using linux kernel 6.5

Hello, I'm currently using Linux 6.5 but makemkv is unable to detect any optical drive. However, on the same fedora installation, using Linux 6.4 Makemkv is able to find the drive. The drive seems to be working fine and Linux 6.5, as I can access all files on that drive.

In 6.5 can you access the drive by other means? I honestly don't know what it could be unless 6.5 is missing something SCSI related.

Yes, as I said, I'm able to view the content of the disk. Even when using 6.5
