BluRay ripping without Audio

Post by bluray_Cat » Tue Jul 18, 2023 2:53 pm

Hello,
I have installed the latest mkv software (1.17.4).
After that I started to rip my blurays.
There were error messages and everything ran slowly.
I got myself a new drive and then tried to
to rip a bluray. Everything went fast, but then...
I tested the ripped bluray on my PC and found that there was no sound.
The jack plug of my speakers is plugged into the right port. Windows is configured correctly by the output of my speakers.
What can this be? Does anyone else have a similar problem or can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Kind regards
Jasmin

It's more likely that your player does not natively support the audio encoding... see CODECs.

To view info about tracks included in a container, try a tool called MediaInfo.

Try a player like VLC, which comes supporting most popular encodings.
