Panasonic 820 BD XL

#1 Post by Tomas » Mon May 29, 2023 8:09 pm

I'll try to ask here. Has anyone tried playing a burned BDXL disc on a Panasonic 820 to see if it works. Thank you

Forget to burn discs as it is too expensive compared to hard disk backup. The only player was the Panasonic UB-900 that could play BDR100 discs..

Hello.

Well, there are people who really like to record in physical format. If you are looking for life, it is not as expensive as it seems at first.

The UB-900 doesn't have Dolby Vision, so it's a half-baked option.

I'll tell you which player does play BDXL, UB450. Strangely, it plays >66GB but not <66GB. But it has an easy solution. You fill it with a file of the size you need to make it >66GB.

The UB450 has Dolby Vision and covers all the Bluray ranges. BD25GB, BD50GB, BDXL.

All the best.
