Concern with v 1.17.4

I just downloaded the newest version, which is 1.17.4. But I'm not getting a message saying it won't work for some reason. Is anyone else getting this message?

do you own makemkv or are you using the beta key thats expired and has not been renewed yet?

I'm trying to help a friend of mine. It is the first time downloading makemkv on that computer. The "Beta" on this website says it only lasts until the end of "May." But, my friend thought that downloading 1.17.4 would "reset" everything so makemkv could be used on blu-rays for 60 days to try it out. But, that didn't work.

Do you know if the June Beta will be available soon?
