ASUS BW-16D1HT not visible in windows

Hi,

I have recently bought a BW-16D1HT drive that came with 3.11, downgraded to 3.10 and then 3.02.
When starting makemkv it actually read the disc for the first time, (4k UHD). But after closing the program and trying another disc, the drive is now not visible anymore in windows.

Tried with different usb as well as computers, still not working. When entering a disc it blinks some times (maybe 14), before it stops doing anything. Either way the computer doesn't recognise it at all in devices when plugging / unplugging either.

Is there any fix to solve this problem? Some assistance would be highly appreciated

What USB adapter are you using.
Try sata if you can to fully rule out if the drive is dead or USB adapter is dead

Have used the adapter with a working Drive earlier (same model).
