Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide Updated 2024

LG BP60Nb10 with SVC NB12 using a Mac M1 to flash. I have followed the guide and to no avail! MakeMKV tells me the disk cannot be decrypted. I have tried 3 different LG firmware options out of the all you need firmware pack. Can someone point me in the right direction? Which exact firmware should I be selecting?

Add enc to the command line... 2020+ FWs are encrypted.

Thank you for the tip. Before I brick my drive, is the command now supposed to look like this:

./sdftool rawflash enc --drive=HL-DT-ST_BD-RE_BU40N_1.02_212012011716_MO6M2QB3331 --sdf-file=/Users/username/Downloads/The\ all\ you\ need\ firmware\ pack/LG\ slim\ BU40N/sdf.bin -v

If that is in correct, may I have the exact command I should use?

Here are the commands I used....

./makemkvcon f -d '/IOBDServices/D3B8A48E' -f /tmp/sdf.bin rawflash full -i /tmp/HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BP60NB10-1.02-NM00800-212005070935.bin

Same error as before failing to open discs. I'm about to send this back to Amazon and buy a pre flashed.

Okay I tried that but it's still giving the libra drive error. Could it be that it's not the right firmware I chose?

It has been a while since I flashed a drive… do you need to power cycle the drive after the flash?

No it will show updated info right away but I do recommend powering it down after a flash
