It seems to be one BluRay giving me issues. The drive is about a week old. I’ve have ripped around 50 other discs with no issues between my desktop and laptop, I’ll take the drives to work with my laptop and do some ripping there as well. So I do not think it’s a hardware issue. Even though the disc is seen by the computers, plays no problem I keep getting medium errors and finally it fails. I’ve concluded there must be something wrong with the disc.
I read somewhere in my research you can pull the data from the disc, or something to that effect, then create an MKV from there. Anyone willing to give me a quick version of the process or a link. The info I found was vague and I’m not sure how they mean to pull the data from the disc.
Thanks.

Re: Trouble ripping BluRay. Medium errors…
Define "issues". What does MakeMKV say about the disk?
Without knowing that, your question is hard to answer. "Medium errors" usually means the disk is not readable, which can be simple dirt.
