Pioneer BDR-208M, disc not recognised

Hope I have posted in the correct forum, total newbie to MakeMkv.
I have a Pioneer BDR-208M, Windows11 64 bit, MakeMkv Beta 1.17.3
I have attached a screen shot of MakeMkv, and it appears to say that my drive is compatible, but when I load a 4k UHD Blu-ray the disc spins, but then says no disc inserted, so I cannot rip the disc,
What am I doing wrong, or is this drive not really compatible, needs a new firmware (I think not!) or is the sdf.bin file not being downloaded? I have private_data.tar in the correct folder, and if opened it contains lots of files, but only 1 sdf00000098.bin, is this correct?

The 208 is not UHD capable.
