The UHD FAQ has a entry for this question. It varies. Sometimes it is fast (a day or two), sometimes it is slow (a week or more).

I submitted my dump as well. How do we know when the key is ready?

Assuming you are set up to receive keys (there will be a warning when you start if downloads are blocked), you'll be able to process the disk. It's automatic, although not very vocal.

That was my bad, I was being to generic with my Q. Yes I have the ability to fetch new keys enabled. What I should have said was is there any notification via email or on the forum that says the key is available? or is it a Try every so often til it works?

From your answer I see it is the latter that is probably more likely :) Thanks :)

If you think Mike sends notifications, that would be wrong as far as I know. It just starts working after a bit.

A guess at why that might be is that, if he gets the key early, it will start working for everyone, so sending out that many notices would be a pain. It's just the people who get disks early (the fun part) that would be "stuck" for a bit.
