The Hot Zone (TV Series) 2011 Can’t open the DVD disc

I am using MakeMKV 1.17.3 for Mac OS X, and I am having problem to open the DVD for “The Hot Zone” (TV Series). I try 2 different disks sets, plus the first season includes 2 DVD’s, and I can’t open either one from each set.
I tried 2 different CD Rom drives (without success) and on the same computer/CD Rom I am capable to open multiple other DVD’s and Blu-Ray discs.
Does anyone know how to fix this issue,

You could try gently cleaning the discs. Sometimes if a disc is dirty or scratched it won't work properly.

I try it too, I have a non-lint cloth that I use. Any of the 2 discs of each set open. And I try two diferentes sets. Any of the 4 discs open ??

What do you use for the solvent/cleaner? Using a cloth without some sort of solvent (disk soap in water, etc.) usually won't do much without AGGRESSIVE action, which is not recommended in most cases.

DVD opening modes - CellWalk, CellTrim, CellFull.......try each mode manually. I had some that would only open in celltrim mode

I've rarely gotten a "clean cloth" to work for removing stuff from a disk. At most, it will smudge fingerprints, and anything actually stuck on the disk will still be stuck.

The errors you're receiving are usually caused by bad spots on the disk. Even breathing on it before using your clean cloth will help, but soapy water or (what I use) pledge-type cleaning/waxing fluid cuts through a lot more stuff. Don't go hog-wild on the cleaner, though.
