Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD & Firmware 1.02

My current Pioneer BDR-XS07TUHD came with FW 1.01 and worked great with LibreDrive on my Mac.

Unfortunately, it 'experienced' water damage (don't ask... ) and needed replacing...

The new one is on its way but I believe will come with Firmware 1.02 which apparently was released on December 21, 2022. As I bought it from Germany, I am assuming it's the BDR-XS07UHD_TUHD_V102EU version listed on the Pioneer website.

Would anyone know, will this still be compatible with LibreDrive or does that FW have the same issue mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=30383?

same issue as the post you linked eta on a fix is a few weeks likely will need to be flashed
the days of pioneers not needing to be flashed are probably over

I will need to wait for a fix hopefully becoming available then.

This only affects UHD discs though, right? Blu-ray and DVDs should still be ok?
