hi ... The 007 The World is Not Enough DVD Region 3

I do not know why The 007-The World is Not Enough Region 3 DVD is always failed to be extracted by MakeMKV V1.1.73.

How can i contact with the author of MakeMKV?

I have tried to extract The DVD content from the discs that comes from three different source. None of them is able to be extracted successfully.

it is never successful even i purchased a brand new disc to extract it.

i can provide the error message and screenshot.
i hope that i can get the answer and i would like to provide everything the author needs in order to fix the problem.

and i found something interesting...

the issue will be fixed if i choose not to extract english subtitle.

i also tried to extract the subtitle with VobSub.
the english subtitle is able to be extracted by VobSub, nothing is wrong, it works perfectly.

Leaving out a track (in this case a subtitle) would remove checks for timing on that track, so the overall rip would not fail. Why it is failing on that subtitle is a question. It seems to be failing because the time to display the subtitle is wrong.

Extracting JUST the subtitle may be ignoring the timing. That's something that I can't tell from what we've got. Perhaps the author Mike can pull the information from the debug information.

Theory says it could be cleaned up with a disk cleaning. There are a number of drives that can read stuff with errors but not report them. Often they're not nice about it - the file will fail a static check for content. Your case of being able to remove one track from a title is actually a bit rare.

i would like to provide my DVD disc image in order to study the situation i got so far for the author of MakeMKV.

whether to keep region code or to remove region code, both of disc's image are possible for me to provide.

i do not know what the "cleaned up" means. i am so sorry for my poor english.
but what you mean is about cleaning the physical disc, well, it is unnecessary for me to do it...
all three discs i had extracted will always fail to extract the english subtitle.
further, it also includes the brand new one i purchased.

is it about the BD-Drive i am using?
