While using MakeMKV and my "I:\" drive to make a Blu-ray full disc backup, I had need to use my "F:\" drive (Different PHYSICAL drive) for another project - and I inadvertently pressed the Open button of the "I:\" drive. This immediately caused an unrecoverable fatal error.
I'd request/suggest that MakeMKV be modified so that, instead of a fatal error, the program should:
1) Initially prevent the drive door from opening
2) Be paused and generate an advisory question - "Do you rally want to open the drive door? Doing so will immediately terminate the program - Yes? No?.
(If "Yes" is selected, the program terminates. If "No" is selected, the program continues from the point where it was temporarily stopped. I believe this can be accomplished by using a "Suspend" function)

Interresting... but I hate when a software lock my DVD/Bluray door.
I remember old burning program crashing... and keeping the door closed.
You needed a restart in this case.
Let's just hope MakeMkv won't turn that way.
