Default, aac or flac profile? What do you use?

I'm starting to build up a collection of movies for my plex server and I'm wondering what profile everybody uses? I'm personally looking at converting the LPCM tracks to FLAC and maybe all commentaries to aac.

If you have a reason to need FLAC, you should use that profile.

However, most players can handle LPCM, AC3 and AAC more often than FLAC, so it usually doesn't make a difference for a system built in the last 3 or 4 years.

I use the default profile and keep whatever audio format was on the disc in the rip. If I want to change the audio format of something, I do it while I transcode before placing it on my Plex.

my own profile, flac for 2.0 lossless audio. passthrough for everything else.
