This is Fujitsu OEM firmware. You will need to send the dump generated by MakeMKV to Mike so he could add support for this version.

I already did, fingers crossed it can be done. Also I noticed if I plug the drive in an Initio box, the firmware data doesn't show up in MakeMKV, does anyone know if initio chipset prevents libredrive being used?

Edit: got a BU40N as well, works flawlessly in the Initio USB3 box.

An update on my BDR-S13U-X drive. I loaded up 1.17.3 and voila! Working great now. Note : I haven't tested MakeMKV backup directly yet as I'm still using AnyDVD HD w/ LibreDrive support.

Shout out to the devs for making this update and turning it around so quickly. I just purchased MakeMKV and appreciate all the hard work that goes into this tool!

Possibly a stupid question. I'm fairly new here but purchased a BDR-S13U-X, which is showing up today. I noticed someone sent in the file for that model recently. What are the chances that it's already been added? Thanks for all you do!
See my above post. MakeMKV 1.17.3 is out and supports this drive with the 1.03 firmware on it.

I also have the PIONEER BDR-S13UBK with 1.03 firmware and it has errors and encryption problems with 4k uhd disc. Works normal with just normal bluray. Is there a firmware problem or something else? Also I have sent a dump file to Mike. How long does it normally take for him to update or get back to u about this?

As long as 'Enable internet access' is checked on the Preferences > General tab, you will automagically pick up the update when available. You'll know when MakeMKV reports it in the 'LibreDrive Information' section.

Just joined to note that my 1.00 firmware Pioneer 212UBK works with MakeMKV natively for the list of compatible drives (I don't think the firmware dump is necessary but happy to provide given my drive was never updated).

Drive Information
OS device name: E:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-212U
Revision: 1.00
Serial number: SFDL000029WL
Firmware date: 2019-01-10
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 65

LibreDrive Information
Status: Enabled
Drive platform: RS8F01
Firmware name: PIONEER BDR-212T
Firmware type: Original (unpatched)
Firmware version: 1.00/ID58
DVD all regions: Yes
BD raw data read: Yes
BD raw metadata read: Yes
Unrestricted read speed: Yes

No disc inserted

Still runs at ~4x speed (I think technically 3.9, but I do recall it going to 4.0 when I did a test rip), interestingly enough compared to newer revision firmware.

Hi guys, first time here.

You'll have to forgive my lack of knowledge, I've just picked up a BD-RW BDR-XD07TS and not sure if It can do UHD or not.

From research I've done people are saying the TS model is just a Tiwanese version of the XD07 but theres nothing about UHD support anywhere.

Hello everybody,

I am brand new into your community. Today I have tried to use my Verbatim drive to encode UHD. unfortunately it's dosen't work has excepted. I have tried on Linux and Windows. As I can seen in windows, my device seems to be supported by LibreDrive, but it dosent see any disk into my MakeMKV, Could be possible that I have missing something ?

Many thanks in advance and a Big "Merci" for all your valuable works for this project
