Hi there,
I'm using makemkv for a while now and am really happy.
But now I switched to fedora and don't get the direct blue ray playback to work.
As makemkv, VLC and Kodi all come as a flatpack, they work perfectly but don't seem able to communicate with each other.
The usual tipp
sudo ln -s libmmbd.so.0 /usr/lib/
doesn't work and Aribb24 doesn't seem to be available as a package.
Has anyone had any luck with direct playback on fedora and can share some insights into how to set it up?
Thank you very much!
Setup on Fedora
Re: Setup on Fedora
Hi SuperSam
Why you don't try to use with RPM packages for Kodi and VLC.
You can also compile and install MakeMKV (instead of Flatpack).
Maybe you will have a better result to do them communicate.

Re: Setup on Fedora
Thank you for the answer!
It did work great that way.
Install VLC and kodi via dnf/rpm
and compile MakeMKV (I followed this guide https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-install- ... dora-linux)
You can delete this post if redundant
