All Cells are not included in title

#1 Post by fiddle » Wed Jan 18, 2023 4:17 pm

Sorry for translating these messages (it was not given in english when I ran the program).

I tried to make a mkv file, but it only succeeded with one title. The second title was cut in half and I cant seem to be able to reach it.
I saw this message

003028:0000 Title #1 has been added (10 cell(s), 0:43:06)
003038:0000 Cell 11-22 was removed from the end of the title
003028:0000 Title #1/1 has been added (10 cell(s), 0:43:41)

How can I fix this?
Version 1.17.2 in Linux.
Apart from this it has been working perfect.

Try:

http://www.makemkv.com/manualdvd/

You need to go into "Preferences" and click the box to enable "Expert Mode" to get the "Open DVD Files Manually" option.

Thank you for your suggestion.

I found this information

Code: Select all

Titles count : 1

Information about title
1: 1/1 - 44 chapters 5 PGC(s) 1(0:41:54) 2(0:41:39) 3(0:42:01) 4(0:41:57) 5(0:00:00)
I have no clue what string to write, to rip the 4 episodes that are on the dvd disc ( I guess that's those that are listed with their running times)

Any suggestion on how to write the string?
I think the documentation would be more helpful with some examples.

While the details provide for a certain level of granularity, I've always opted for the most basic
option... in his case, title_number '1', w/out all the additional detail. I use the GUI (winders), so unsure how that translates to CLI?

IF the single title contains all episodes (depends on authoring), you'll need a tool like MKVToolNix to carve out individual .mkvs, probably on chapter boundaries.
