Old Drive or New Drive

#1 Post by andre3000 » Mon Jan 09, 2023 11:49 am

Howdy, long time lurker first time poster *long term makemkv license key holder!*

I currently own a LG BE12LU30 and would like to know is there anything that can be done currently with flashing firmware or would it simply be better to buy a drive from the sales tab on this forum if I wished to rip 4K UHD discs? (I've had a look at the flashing page but I'd just like some of your opinions before committing!)

Thanks again to this community doing what should be freely available to all!

No UHD for that drive either. The platform (MT1939) is too old.
