I'm out of ideas. I've a new BD-RE BU40N with firmware 1.04 (original). I read the flashing guide several times and tried to flash the drive with sdftool flasher to "HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.04-NM00500-212005061142.bin" enc (enabled). After that I downgraded the drive to 1.03 (HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.03-NM00000-211810241934.bin). I've done the restarts of my drive after each flash. Then I started MakeMKV. The program is recognizing the drive and the UHD Movie correctly. But after starting the ripping, the process stopps everytime after a short period of time. Sometimes I got hash check errors (with 1.03) and after going back to 1.04 I got "too much A/V sychronisation issues". It doesn't matter if it's a UHD or a BluRay disc. Now I'm very concerned I made a mistake or killed my drive!?
