Rip Bluray to BDMV in MakeMKV?!

I've seen some BDMVs from different places of the web with a MAKEMKV folder in them. This got me wondering if MakeMKV can rip to BDMV or not. If so, I've been missing out on this option for sometime now and an idiot. If not, what purpose was that folder there for, and how did it get there?

If there is a method to rip to BDMVs with the help of MakeMKV + another program, could someone give me some tips on how it's done? I'd like to preserve interactive menus for my backups. Much appreciated.

So glad someone responded with a link that no longer works rather than answering the guy's question
(in short, you can use the backup option in MakeMKV).

Well, in 2018 when the reply was posted (over 4 years ago), the answer WAS in the FAQ. Probably still is, if the author would fix the links...
