(Solved) Just updated to macOS 13.0 (Ventura) and suddenly getting "OS error - (ipc/send) invalid destination port"

:!: I've seen other threads where this error is reported as a bad disc and/or drive, so maybe it's a coincidence, but this thing has burned almost 3,000 discs without issue, until this afternoon right after the upgrade to 13.0. Maybe a new permissions thing? Debug output below. I'm on MakeMKV 1.17.2.

macOS and iOS have been showing more and more "do you want to allow this?" dialogs for everything now, I expected there to be one when my drive was connected but it happily shows the disc in Finder. MakeMKV doesn't seem to like it any more. :(

False alarm! I switched power supplies and everything is back to normal! I re-configured my desk and ended up using with a power supply with 1.5A instead of the 2A listed on the drive's enclosure. Switched to a beefier one and everything is back to normal!
