Has anyone else tried ripping the new Disney's Combo pack blu ray disk. It took about 13 minutes before it even began to save out data and then all during the rip it kept stopping for several seconds then starting again.
It's the longest rip for a blu ray I ever done, took 52 minutes to complete, normally takes most blu ray disk about 25 to30 minutes.
You need to be very patient with this rip, it does finish eventually.

Hi!
Sounds like your drive may be experiencing problems. If you now try to rip a different blu-ray disc (preferably one that you had previously successfully ripped, does it exhibit the same behavior?
If so, your drive may be failing or dirty. You might want to try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on the drive. Maxell makes one that sells for about $10US...

This might happen if disc is authored with excessive seamless branching - when many M2TS files have to be joined together. MakeMKV has to scan all segments at start. Did "Source file name" change during these 13 minutes?kfreeb wrote:It took about 13 minutes before it even began to save out data and then all during the rip it kept stopping for several seconds then starting again.
