'SAFE' caption next to/on read rate

I was using makemkv, to backup terminator (original, released a few years ago on Blu-ray).

My archgon player/recorder hit 5.5 times read rate, and it was transferring 24.76 m/s. at this
point the word 'safe' appeared next to the read rate. after this the read rate dropped to 5.1
about 17.78 m/s. Never seen this before?. Great tool to save the player and or file from being
blasted into outer space. anyone else seen this?. ... hmmmm

Perfectly normal this is when it is near the layer swap to avoid errors really it's supposed to go down to 2x I believe
