Stuck trying to analyze seamless segments?

Trying to copy disc 4 of my Mushishi DVD, it always stops at about 75% when trying to rip a certain part of the disc. I've tried making an ISO backup and the same thing happens. I've also tried buying and using another copy of the disc but still it's stuck in the same place. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue when doing the series Hercules, in that one episode just wouldn't rip in a BD drive. After trying several disks, I ended up putting the disk into a VERY OLD DVD drive, and it could be read... with a dozen or so retries. The disk was just stamped badly.

But it's hard to tell just what your error is, given the description. My copy of Mushi-Shi did not seem to have an issue, but that was almost 6 years ago.
