Corruption or Bug?

#1 Post by anthonyb » Mon Apr 11, 2011 9:38 pm

Hi,
I am having problems with 2 discs irobot and Back to the future 3. Both rip except the last few stream parts - they fail with messgaes saying that the m2ts is corrupt at block.... Now i tried this on another blu ray ripper and what happens is that the last 2 chapters dont rip - they appear as a seperate title with the total movie size being the same in GB but with only showing 2 chapters. I have done a Hash table check and both say 99.89% ok with one m2ts file being corrupted. This pattern of the same error on disks strikes me as being something more than a disk mastering error - can anyone provide any advice? I am wondering if this is a deliberate structure flaw to prevent ripping?

Hi!

Submit a "Debug Log"

(BTW - I had no trouble with "I, Robot")

Failed hashcheck certainly indicates a corrupted data. It's problem either with the disc or drive.
