MakeMKV is saying I need to register but.....

I purchased makemkv last year. I'm trying to use it today and it's telling me I need to register or update. When I updated its asking for my registration number. Is there a way to get this from my purchase? I can't find any info on the makemkv site, unless I'm missing something. Can any give me directions on how to retrieve my registration code?

Which version?

Normally, if you update over the top of your current version, it absorbs the registration automagically. But a fresh install needs to have it put in. You would have received an email with the original registration, which still applies to the new copy.

If you have LOST the original email, you can ask the author for a copy. That's best done via email, so no one copies your registration.

Instant response isn't something Mike does all the time, unfortunately. Usually a day or two is necessary, sometimes a week. He's been fairly active lately, though...

I hope so because I'm not using this for perosnal. I have a client that wants to use footage from a disc that's protected and im on a deadline.

It's not quite "that time of the month", just yet. Make sure, when copying the key, avoid leading/trailing spaces... just visible characters.

And still didn't work. Keeps saying trial period over, purchase or input registration code

How are you applying the code? Windows? Code should be fine...

'Help' > 'Register' > paste beta code > 'OK'?
