Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
There's some good info in there. I'm surprised the Shield supports it.

must be an LLDV thing because nothing on my Shield for L8 in tv-led DV.
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Well your TV doesn't support it either, so it makes sense.

Do you think this is a good solution to share the external hard drive that contains movie files between the x700 and the pc?
https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Selector- ... B01MXXQKGM
Press one button to switch to pc, copy and paste the bmdv folder to root, press the button to switch back to x700, watch the movie. Save the time from the constant unplugging/replugging when you want to change movies.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
Hi all! Please help me. I'd like to edit L5 for frames between 0-2117 and 2590-4428. Can I make it with one JASON or I should use two? One for 0-2117 and one for 2590-4428? Thanks!
Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I assume all the frames within each group will have the same edits. i.e. 0-2117 0,0,0,0 and 2590-4428 0,0,280,280. If so, yes one .json should work.BadSector81 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 4:26 pmHi all! One thing I'm worried is that connecting through the switch may cut down on the usb 2.0 speed and affect the bitrate of the movie. Is there a way to tell if a movie is not playing at maximum bitrate?

Has anyone tried playing the Dolby Amaze and Leaf demo file? I'm playing them on my x700 connected to the denon x3700h but there's no sound. They are originally mkv files and I converted them to ts but still no sound.

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
you just need to add the core back into TrueHD, nothing new and it's been explained many many times in this thread. . you can do that with eac3to or thdmerge.deadchip12 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 10, 2022 11:37 amHmm so the x700 can't play that...

or with my script:

Re: Dolby Vision now possible through MP4 Mux.
I tried Ugoos AM6B Plus (S922X-J), it only handles L1 and L2.RESET_9999 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 6:53 pmSo the appleTV really only supports P5 dynamic metadata...NiCE77 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 6:44 pmMany thanks, I've tested, but none of the trims work with Apple TV 4K 2021. I checked both in native and LLDV mode.
I checked it with more players and TVs, and the results are here: https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?res ... Vgr1mbxiSQ
Do you still have the GTV Chromecast ? is L2 working in LLDV?
You're the second person to say the Shield has no L2 response in LLDV.
