Static Screen Upon 4K Playback

Hello,

I am new to both this forum and MakeMKV however I have just started to RIP my Blu-Ray and 4K Blu-Ray collection with the help of members and posts on this forum. I have however ran in to an issue that I hope someone can explain.

When I go to play a select few of my 4K Blu-Rays via Plex or Emby via the LG TV app, some titles have static screens for portions of the movie. The screen flickers small RGB regions however behind the flickering the movie continues to play as normal as the sound can be heard.

Does anyone else have this isssue? I've tried re-ripping the files, same issue. I've tried switching from Plex to Emby, same issue. I've used VLC media player on my laptop to watch the movies back after ripping them and they look fine however my laptop only has a 1080p non-HDR screen so I'm unsure if this is a fair comparison. When plugging my laptop into the TV via HDMI for playback, Plex "upscales" to 4K without HDR which is strange as the content nativley is in 4K.

I shall try to attach a picture of the static. Once the static is there, the movie is unwatchable as the picture can no longer be seen. The files are totally uncompressed and ripped straight from the UHD disc.

The only thing I feel confident on is that this is not a bandwidth/buffering issue as I have much higher capacity movies that work just fine.

Any help would be much appreciated.
