Quick Clarification on drive and region coding

Hey guys, thank you so much for the help! the drive that I am interested in is BDR-XS07UHD. According to the site this doesn't need to be flashed since it already works with Makemkv. I know that 4k blu rays don't have region coding but for standard blu rays do the regions need to be changed because the manual states that region coding can be changed only 5 times but I am not using this to watch movies but just to rip them. I have a lot of films from the UK that I would like to rip to plex but I don't want to have top purchase another drive.

Yeah you don't need to change the region ever with makemkv
