MAKEMKV free beta not working

I downloaded MakeMKV a long time ago and it's been really good. When the beta key expires, I uninstall it and install the latest version. This has always worked until now I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but every time it says that the trial period is up and I have to purchase it. Has something changed or am I missing something?
