Hello, I'm interested in buying BDR-XS07TUHD but I would like first to be sure it will be possible to rip UHD Blu-Ray with it ? Has someone used it and would like to share his feedback ? Thanks, all

1 month later, I bought it and it works perfectly ! It came with an unpatched firmware, it worked out of the box with MakeMKV. I haven't used Cyberlink tho, I only rip, never read directly on disk

I can also confirm that this drive works out of the box. I have tested it on over a dozen disks without fail. No flashing required.

I even made a video on YouTube proving the drive works as stated on a recent 4K disk.
