Blu ray rip with forced subtitles
Blu ray rip with forced subtitles
I have the MakeMKV program installed. When ripping the original blu ray and selecting forced subtitles from the blu ray, the resulting mkv does not contain forced subtitles. Can you advise me why they are not there? I use MakeMKV beta. Thanks for the answers.
Re: Blu ray rip with forced subtitles
Most likely because the BD in question has no subtitles flagged as forced. It is VERY RARE.
The usual BD will have a separate TRACK that contains only the foreign audio (also called "forced") subtitles. At best, this track will be flagged as the default in the menu when using its matching language.
The only ways to identify this track reliably is to watch the title, switching between tracks until you find it.
