ASUS drive not reading discs

Hi guys,

I have the ASUS BW-16D1HT. I used it quite extensively toward the middle of last year and haven't used it since.

I fired it up this evening as I have amassed another good size collection that I wanted to transfer to my NAS. Now no discs are being recongnized.

I had unplugged it since I was not needing to use it. Could that have screwed something up?

Will it read a CD or a DVD?
