I realize based on the number of posts, that this is not a high priority movie.
However, I sent the dump file in via email on the 18th...

I know Mike has a lot on his plate, but if there is some idea when he might be able to get this done, it would be great.

Thanks for always taking care of us!

I sent a dump file on the 18th for Last Night in Soho and the certification table hasn't been update for that disc either. This is the longest turnaround I've experienced. I hope everything is okay with Mike.

Five days is quite normal. No need to worry.

I also have a license for another ripper, if MakeMKV doesn’t work I use the other one. I never had a disc that wouldn’t rip using either. Please support Mike if you haven’t.

I've been a long time supporter of Mike and MakeMKV.
This is not the first time there has been a long period of time when no
movement on files has happened.

I'm wondering if maybe somebody close to Mike should check in with him
to make sure everything is OK.

What other ripper do you use? I'm trying DVDFab's. It says my drive doesn't have the right firmware, but seems to be doing it anyway. I don't like the way they do all the "sales" and push so many different products though.

I just tried DVDFab and it did the video just fine, but ignored the audio completely.
I noticed the constant bombardment of sales as well.

I did a test run of DVDFab. The trial version sort of does its own thing, regardless of the settings.
I was able to get a complete mp4 conversion, which I ran through HandBrake on a partial run.
Audio and video seem fine.

Will do a full run through HandBrake and advise further.

Would still prefer using Mike's program instead.
More control, easier interface to use.

I've tried DVDFab and Leawo, and I've had issues with both. I'm also generally wary of any Chinese-developed and hosted software given the Chinese government's data-disclosure mandates.

I've purchased a license from Mike, and I hope he's able to continue to support MakeMKV. If it's too much of a burden for him to keep the hash key table updated in a timely fashion, perhaps some others can volunteer to share the burden.

I did get DVDFab to work after a fashion.

Using the UHD Ripper, I got a fairly massive mp4 file. Running through HandBrake (turning subtitles off) I got it converted to a functional m4v, which plays just fine through the Apple TV app. I’d rather use makeMKV because the interface is cleaner and easier to work with though.

As of January 31st, this appears to now be working, although a second playlist of the movie without chapters appears as well. Thank you!
