MakeMKV stolen?

I downloaded Handbrake, and when I launch the program, I currently get the error message that MakeMKV is stolen.

I checked out the URL https://www.makemkv.com/stolen and I don't think Handbrake would be considered a program that would use any stolen code.

Any idea why I continually get this pop-up in Handbrake?

Handbrake should not normally know MakeMKV is installed, unless you set up MakeMKV to provide decryption for it. The two operate independently otherwise.
