Pioneer BDR-XDO7UHD support?

#1 Post by Wayned » Wed Dec 22, 2021 9:59 pm

I thought the BluRay drive I had (Toshiba Portable BD Writer SE-50S) was a 4K drive, it turns out it doesn't so I got the Pioneer drive. It turns out that MakeMKV doesn't support the Pioneer drive<sigh>. Is there a list of 4K drives that are supported?

Too late. Is it hard to flash the Archgon(?) so that it would work?

I could cancel the order but I'd still have the Archon which doesn't work...

I could also cancel the new drive that I've ordered and I could send you the Archgon drive along with a check for (?amount?) and have you flash the drive or cross ship you have one on hand. That way I don't have another BluRay drive. Is this reasonable?
