Issue with UHD Spectre

Having issues with UHD Spectre receiving the following error, any help would be greatly appreciated

MakeMKV v1.16.5 win(x64-release) started
Using LibreDrive mode (v06.2 id=E064BA3E3F81)
Using direct disc access mode

If you've emailed the .TGZ file to svq@makemkv.com, that's step one.

A search here for "spectre" will show you some other topics where people had issues with this disk, beyond just getting the correct decryption key.

Your log does not indicate whether or not your system tried to download the HK file; you might want to check out the UHD FAQ about that.

Thankyou Woodstock, will email and and hopefully get the correct decryption key. A lot of the Spectre posts discuss having a clean disk. Really can't get much cleaner then a new xmas present. Once again Thanks.

"New Christmas present" seems like you think "new in box" is "clean". It is NOT, because the packaging can contaminate disks in ways not visible to our eyes.

Yeah, brand new disc's are meaningless.

I just bought the Daniel Craig Collection and had an error every time it was trying to back-up the main title m2ts file. I exchanged it once at BestBuy, had the same issue, then took the refund and bought it on Amazon, only to have the same issue again.

Sometimes you'll get a bad batch with quality control.

Ended up having to buy Spectre separately and was able to successfully back it up.

It looks like others have been able to process this okay - It's been a long enough time for there to be a decryption key now, you'd assume.

See the UHD FAQ. You might need to email your dump and check that MakeMKV is connecting to the internet okay. It is also the case that a movie might be encrypted with more than one key. Maybe the first 100K copies used key A, but the second 100K copies used key B or whatever.
