Some also use AnyDVD to get a list of 'valid' MPLS. Sometimes it's a combination of the above. It just takes time and a little help from the community too. If you also have a difficult one, Mike the Admin can also take a look sometimes. It may require that you upload some debugging files though.
I'm trying to find a reasonably robust yet quick way to figure these sorts of discs out. I'll take a look into the options you mentioned. Thought the PM + PowerDVD had 'em beat!

For those who purchased the 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack, the correct file on the 2D disc is 00407.mpls

You're welcome. I should probably post a screengrab as well.

They have found a way to hide which playlist is the correct one while using monitoring software.

Code: Select all

it is altering the name of the playlist in order to obscure which order is correct.

Thanks for the link, looks like people are on it! I swear this is so absurd, commercial pirates will always find a way around this crap, all it does is screw legitimate owners from using their property as they see fit.

I made 2 videos on how to deal with this exact movie on YouTube. As new protections come out I'll figure a way to overcome them. Type in gereral1 in Google to visit my YouTube channel jackofalltrades and goto home theater playlist. There is 3 videos showing you the 2 types of screen pass that Hollywood is using. Since they are trying to fool us and hiding the mpls I show you how to used the cashed mpls to find the original movies disk mpls. Also have a video accessed inside mpls finder software developed by Rotty dog and me to automate this stupid screen pass crap.

Thanks. This is also the right one for the 3D Blu Ray combo steelbook from Best Buy.

I have the single disc retail version from Costco.

Would like to confirm that the correct segment for me was also 510,509,506,502,504,508,505,511,501,507,503

The only difference is that the segment was located in title 83.

I compared the rip and the disc, taking note of chapter length and scenes, everything matched up perfectly.
This was the correct one for me as well. Mine was either a Best buy or Amazon purchase.

I got the 3 disk pack on Amazon in 2022, none of the above segment orders worked for me. I used the instructions on this post viewtopic.php?t=16251
to find the segment order, and got
"518,519,511,503,509,516,513,501,520,517,508,515,514,506,502,505,504,510,512,507"
which was title 235 on my disc.
